The Dutch public transport system is excellent. Almost all areas can be reached either by train, bus or tram. Eindhoven Central Station is situated in the city center. Many national and international trains arrive and depart here. Please be advised you can buy your train ticket in advance. In this way you are well prepared for your journey, plus you will get a 8% discount if you buy your ticket via the Championships site. A single fare Amsterdam – Eindhoven will be 17,00 euro instead of 18,50.You can also buy return tickets from Eindhoven to Amsterdam via internet, or in the promo village. In this webshop, traintickets are offered from any trainstation in the Netherlands to Eindhoven and from Eindhoven to any Trainstation in the Netherlands. You could, for example, use this ticket for your transfer between Schiphol and Eindhoven, or use it for a day trip to Amsterdam.
After payment you will receive one code for a one way ticket and two codes for a return ticket. You can use these codes in the National Railways ticket webshop: https://www.ns.nl/eticket/ticket?language=en .
If you select the sixth option “I want to enter a coupon code” and you enter the code at couponcode, you will automatically receive a ticket from any train station in the Netherlands to Eindhoven or from Eindhoven to any train station in the Netherlands. This is a fixed rate, so you don’t have to pay extra when travelling from and to a station farther away from Eindhoven.
If you, for instance, use these tickets for the transfer from Schiphol to Eindhoven and back, you will benefit a discount of 3 euro.
For the avoidance of doubt: the general discount is only available for holder of Annual Tickets.

The bus station is located at the north entrance of Eindhoven Central Station. Other parts of the city and the towns and villages nearby are within easy reach by bus. From Eindhoven Central Station bus lines 17, 171 or 172 leave approximately every 15 minutes and will take you to the Pieter van den Hoogenband zwemstadion.
